Primitive Radio Gods, an American alternative rock group formed in Southern
California, originated from the earlier band The I‑Rails, where frontman Chris
O'Connor handled vocals and bass guitar. After the split of The I‑Rails in 1990,
Chris O'Connor continued developing material that would later become the
foundation of Primitive Radio Gods. The band’s breakthrough came with the 1996
