The female J-pop band Princess Princess formed in 1983 and became one of Japan's
best-selling acts during the late-'80s, when the group launched a remarkable run
of five consecutive Number 1 singles. Bandmates Kaori Kishitani, Kanako
Nakayama, Atsuko Watanabe, Tomoko Konno, and Kyōko Tomita released their debut
single, "Koi wa Balance," in 1987, along with the debut album Teleportation. The
group's member shared songwriting credits on Teleportation, and the album hit
