Pulcino Pio, known in French as Le Poussin Piou, is a character created by
Morgana Giovannetti, an Italian radio presenter. The character originated from a
parody of a Brazilian song titled "O Pintinho" and was first released on July
18, 2012, by Radio Globo. The single "Il pulcino Pio", performed by Giovannetti,
became the summer hit in Italy, reaching Number 1 on the charts in August 2012.
