Quincy Mumford
Quincy Mumford, born on December 18, 1991 in Asbury Park, New Jersey, is an
American singer-songwriter and guitarist. He began learning guitar at age nine
and started singing and writing his own music at 13. His debut album Quincy
Mumford was released in 2008 when he was 16. Shortly thereafter, he formed the
live band Quincy Mumford & the Reason Why. In 2009, Mumford released his second
album South Edgemere, winning three Asbury Music Awards including Best Male
Acoustic Act and Album of the Year. His third album Speak followed in April
2011.
