Radio Pirata
Radio Pirata, a Rock en Español band from Puerto Rico, was formed by Rucco
Gandía. Their initial lineup included Raül Reyes on lead vocals and rhythm
guitars, Roberto Torres on guitar, Roberto "Bobby" Trinidad on percussion,
Nitayno Arayoán on drums, Rafael Carrasquillo on keyboards, and Gandía on bass.
The group debuted in 1993 at the Centro de Bellas Artes, Puerto Rico's most
prestigious venue. Radio Pirata signed with Fonovisa Records in 1994. Their
self-titled album, Radio Pirata (1997), featured hit songs such as "El Loco" and
