Rafael Barreto
Rafael Rodrigues Barreto is a Brazilian pop singer and songwriter born on
October 21, 1985, in Salvador, Bahia. He began singing at age 13 and started
composing music at age 16. Barreto reached wider visibility after winning the
third season of the reality television program Ídolos Brazil in 2008. Following
his victory, he signed a recording contract with the label Sony Music
Entertainment. In June 2009, he released the debut studio recording Rafael
