Realm
Realm, a progressive thrash metal band, was formed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in
1985 by vocalist Doug Parker, guitarists Paul Laganowski and Takis Kinis,
bassist Steve Post, and drummer Mike Olson. The group first gained attention
with self‑released demos Perceptive Incentive (1985) and Final Solution (1986),
which showcased their thrash style. In 1988, they signed with Roadrunner
Records, releasing the debut album Endless War and a single cover of "Eleanor
Rigby" that year. The follow‑up album Suiciety arrived in 1990. The band
disbanded in 1992.
