Rebecca Pronsky
Rebecca Pronsky is an American singer-songwriter from Brooklyn, New York, born
on September 4, 1980. Her musical style combines elements of folk, jazz,
alternative, and country. She began vocal training at eight years of age and
learned guitar after meeting musician Lucy Wainwright Roche in high school.
Pronsky graduated from Brown University in 2002 with degree in ethnomusicology.
Her recording career began with debut demo Milestone (2002), followed by a
collaboration with musician Rich Bennett that led to extended play The Early
