Ricky Warwick was born on July 11, 1966 in Newtownards, County Down, Northern
Ireland. He received his first guitar at the age of 14 and began playing songs
by artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash. His family
later moved to Strathaven in Scotland, where he met his future bandmates Stumpy
Monroe and Floyd London. Ricky Warwick began his musical career as rhythm
guitarist for the band New Model Army during their world tour in 1987. A year
