Riff Cohen
Israeli singer Riff Cohen maintains the artistic link that has always united
France and Israel, from Rika Zaraï to Asaf Avidan, via Mike Brant and Ishtar
Alabina. Riff Cohen, with his first name that snaps like a guitar chord, is like
none of these, and represents a current, impertinent path. His music blends
oriental tradition and frenzied pop, while his often funny lyrics are in Hebrew
and French. Riff Cohen released the single "A Paris" in November 2012, followed
by the album of the same name in April 2013.
