Rita Maria de Azevedo Mafra Guerra, known professionally as Rita Guerra, is a
Portuguese pop singer. Born on October 22, 1967 in Lisbon, Portugal, she began
her music career in 1989 performing alongside Salvatore Adamo at the Casino de
Estoril. Her debut studio album, Pormenores Sem a Mínima Importância, was
released in 1990. Her breakthrough came with her participation in the Festival
RTP da Canção in 2003, where she won first place with the song “Deixa-me sonhar
