Roberto Carcassés (born May 19, 1972, in Havana, Cuba) was a Cuban jazz pianist,
composer, and bandleader. Carcassés graduated in percussion from the National
School of Arts in Havana in 1991. Between 1992 and 1995, Carcassés performed as
the pianist for Santiago Feliú during tours of Argentina, Germany, and Spain.
From 1998 to 1999, Carcassés toured Spain and the United States with the
ensemble Columna B. Carcassés performed at international jazz festivals in
