Ross Daly was born on September 29, 1952, in King's Lynn, Norfolk. He is an
Irish-born composer who specializes in Celtic music and world music genres. He
traveled extensively through the Middle East, Central Asia, and the Indian
subcontinent to study local musical traditions. In 1982, Ross Daly established
Labyrinth Musical Workshop in Houdetsi, Crete, focusing on traditional music
education. His early albums include Oneirou Topi (1982) and Lavyrinthos (1984).
