Ruco Chan is a Cantonese singer, television actor, and film star. Born as "Chan
Chin-pang" in British Hong Kong on January 14, 1977, he began landing television
roles as a teenager. Ruco Chan had already appeared in more than a dozen
productions by the Hong Kong-based broadcasting company TVB by the time he
signed a record contract with PolyGram in 1998. He released the Blue EP and a
handful of singles that same year, but progress was halted by Universal Music
Group's acquisition of PolyGram and the subsequent dissolution of Chan's
