Ryan Keberle
Ryan Keberle, born June 16, 1980 in Bloomington, Indiana, is an American
trombonist. He began playing piano at age four and later took up the trombone
under his father's encouragement. Keberle studied at Whitworth University before
transferring to Manhattan School of Music. His early career included
performances with the David Berger Jazz Orchestra and the Maria Schneider Jazz
Orchestra. In 2007, Keberle released Double Quartet on Alternate Side, followed
by Heavy Dreaming in 2010. He formed Catharsis in 2012, releasing Music Is
