Launched by Ben Worcester and Tyler Bancroft in 2007, Said The Whale is a
Canadian indie-rock band best known for hit singles like "UnAmerican" and the
chart-topping "I Love You." The group formed in Vancouver, British Columbia, and
released two EPs — Let's Have Sound and Taking Abalonia — during its first year.
The full-length album Howe Sounds/Taking Abalonia followed in 2008, with the
sophomore effort Islands Disappear appearing in 2009. "Camilo (The Magician)"
became the band's first hit on rock radio, reaching Number 20 on the Canadian
