Saigon Kick
Formed in Miami, Florida, in 1988, the American rock band Saigon Kick is best
known for its 1992 hit "Love Is on the Way". Led by singer and guitarist Jason
Bieler, the band, completed by Matt Kramer (vocals), Tom DeFile (bass) and Phil
Varone (drums), blended hard rock, alternative rock and heavy metal, without
limiting themselves to any one trend at a time when grunge was proliferating.
After a debut album of the same name released on the Third Stone/Atlantic label
in 1991, the band reached its peak with the follow-up The Lizard (1992),
featuring the famous power ballad "Love I...
