Saliva
Saliva are an American hard rock and alternative metal band formed in the
Memphis, Tennessee area in 1996 by singer Josey Scott, guitarists Wayne Swinny
and Chris D'Abaldo, bassist Dave Novotny and drummer Todd Poole. After reaching
the national final of the Recording Academy's Grammy Showcase in 1997, the group
released its self-titled debut independently later that year, eventually selling
more than 10,000 copies and attracting the attention of Island Records. Paul
Crosby replaced Poole on drums before Saliva broke into the mainstream with
