A Cameroonian singer who has lived in Paris since the age of 13, Sally Nyolo started out as a backing singer before joining the group Zap Mama in 1993. After a spell on the Real World label, she pursued her solo career with the excellent album Tribu in 1996 (Prix Découverte RFI) and toured the world. True to her African roots, Sally Nyolo recorded the traditional Béti (2000) in her native country and Studio Cameroon (2006) with The Original Bands of Yaoundé. In 2007, she released Mémoire du Monde, followed four years later by La Nuit à Fébé.
