Iván Santos Ortiz, known professionally as Santaflow, is a Spanish rapper, singer-songwriter, and producer born on July 19, 1979, in Algete, Madrid. He began his musical journey in 1998, forming the duo Desterrados with El Chulo del Megane, releasing their self-titled album in 2001. After the duo's dissolution, Santaflow pursued a solo career, signing with Universal Music in 2003. His debut solo album, Yo, Santaflow, faced delays and was ultimately released in 2007.
