Guthrie, born February 16, 1979, is the daughter of folksinger Arlo Guthrie and
granddaughter of Woody Guthrie. Johnny Irion, born John Phillip Irion on
February 3, 1969, comes from a family of artists including author Thomas
Steinbeck and classical violinist Rubilee Knight. The duo began performing
together in late 2000 after meeting through mutual friend Chris Robinson. Their
