Saratoga, a Spanish heavy metal band from Madrid, was formed in 1992 by bassist
Niko del Hierro and guitarist Jero Ramiro. Their debut album, Saratoga, was
released in 1995. In 1999, the band released Vientos de Guerra, marking a shift
towards a more modern sound. The album Agotarás (2002) achieved commercial
success and solidified Saratoga's position in the Spanish heavy metal scene.
Notable songs from this era include "Heaven's Gate" and "Show Me Your Pride". In
