Sasami Ashworth, known simply as Sasami, is an American musician born on June 23, 1990, in Bronxville, New York. Coming from a diverse background with a German father and a Korean mother born in Japan, she grew up speaking Korean and Japanese and was influenced early on by her involvement in the Unification Church.
