Scorch
Scorch, a French fusion metal hardcore band, was formed in 1996 in Montpellier
by vocalist Sylvain Sberna and guitarist Valérian. The group gained traction
after releasing their debut album Silence in 2003. Scorch's lineup stabilized
with the addition of bassist Laurent Huguet and drummer Julien Grégoire, who
joined in 2001. In mid-2004, they recorded an EP titled Scorch, which was
released in 2005. The band gained significant exposure through extensive touring
across France, Belgium, and the Czech Republic, performing over 150 concerts.
