Die Seer (also known as SEER) are an Austrian band from Grundlsee in the Styrian
Salzkammergut region, founded in 1996 by musician Alfred Jaklitsch. Combining
elements of traditional Austrian folk music with modern pop, the group became
known for songs written and performed entirely in Austrian dialect. Their debut
album, Über'n See, was released in 1996, followed by the breakthrough album
Junischnee (2002), which spent 112 weeks on the Austrian charts and achieved
