Sen Dog
Senen Reyes, born on November 20, 1965, in Pinar del Río, Cuba, and better known
as Sen Dog, first made his mark after relocating to South Gate, California,
where he joined forces with his cousin B-Real and DJ Muggs to form the
influential hip-hop trio Cypress Hill in 1988. Their self-titled debut album in
1991 introduced hard-edged West Coast hip-hop fused with bilingual lyrics,
highlighted by songs like “How I Could Just Kill a Man” and “Pigs.” The group’s
second album, Black Sunday (1993), debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard charts
