SetTheTone
Set The Tone was a Scottish electronic music group formed in 1982, consisting of
Kenny Hyslop on drums, Bobby Paterson, Chris Morgan and Evelyn Asiedu. Hyslop
had previously been a member of several notable bands including the Zones, the
Skids, Slik, and Simple Minds, where he played drums on their hit single
"Promised You a Miracle" (1982). Following his departure from Simple Minds,
Hyslop formed Set The Tone with Paterson, Morgan, and Asiedu. The group quickly
secured a recording contract with Island Records in late 1982. Set The Tone
