Seungkwan, born Boo Seung-kwan on January 16, 1998 in Busan, South Korea, is a
South Korean singer and entertainer signed under Pledis Entertainment. He is a
member of the popular South Korean boy group Seventeen and is part of the Vocal
Team subunit. Raised in Jeju-do, South Korea, Boo showcased his musical talent
from a young age by participating in song festivals at his school where a video
of him singing caught the attention of talent scouts from Pledis Entertainment,
