Shadow Blow (José Ariel Fernández Soto, born in Santo Domingo on July 12, 1983)
is a Dominican urban artist and producer whose background runs through formal
music training and the street-level energy of the capital’s rap and dembow
scene. As a child he studied classical music at the National Conservatory,
learning piano and percussion, but he gravitated toward urban music while still
