Shadow Child
Simon Christopher Bird, born 20 January 1977 in Portsmouth, Hampshire, United
Kingdom, is a DJ and producer who performs under the stage names Shadow Child
and Dave Spoon. After early exposure to synth‑pop and 1990s house, Simon
Christopher Bird released his first "21st Century" single in 2005, followed by
the "At Night" EP in 2006. In 2008 he achieved a UK Singles Chart entry with
"Baditude" at number 34, later climbing to number 29, and the collaboration "Bad
