The Sham Pistols were a short-lived punk rock supergroup formed in 1979,
consisting of guitarist Steve Jones and drummer Paul Cook of The Sex Pistols,
along with vocalist Jimmy Pursey and bass player Dave Tregunna of Sham 69.
Following the breakup of The Sex Pistols in January 1978, Jones and Cook sought
to form a new band and recruited Pursey and Tregunna. In July 1979, they
recorded ten songs, including originals like "Silly Thing" and covers such as
