Shatta Wale
Ghanaian reggae and dancehall singer Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr. aka Shatta
Wale was born on October 17, 1987. He made a name for himself as Bandana with
the track "Bandana from Ghana", which made a big impact on Ghanaian radio
stations in 2004. He then changed his name to Shatta Wale, and it took him some
time to return to the forefront. Just when he thought he was going to receive
the Dancehall Artist of the Year award at the VGMA Awards in 2013, it went to
