Simon Dupree and The Big Sound is a British psychedelic band formed in 1966 by
three brothers: Derek Shulman (vocals), Phil Shulman (saxophone, trumpet,
vocals), and Ray Shulman (guitar, violin, trumpet, vocals). Initially known as
"The Howling Wolves" and later "The Road Runners," the group officially adopted
the name Simon Dupree and The Big Sound in 1966. Derek took on the pseudonym
Simon Dupree for his role as the lead singer. They signed with EMI and released
