Anne Sinikka Langeland, born January 13, 1961, in Grue, Norway, is a Norwegian
musician, composer, and educator specializing in the Finnish national
instrument, the kantele, as well as runic singing and the traditional Norwegian
vocal style of kveding. She has released acclaimed recordings including Strengen
var af røde guld (1997), Lille Rosa - Kjærlighetsballader (2000), and the
award-winning Runoja - Runesanger frå Finnskogen (2002), which earned the 2003
