Siyaya
Siyaya, also known as Siyaya Arts, is a music, dance, and theatre group from
Makokoba, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The group formed in 1989 under the name Nostalgic
Actors and Singers Alliance. It originally consisted of 5 members led by Mike
Sobiko, and renamed itself Siyaya on its 10th anniversary, meaning “on the
move.” Under the leadership of Saimon Mambazo Phiri, the lineup expanded to 13
members. Siyaya released the albums Yebo! Yes! (2000), Kokoba Town (2002), Futhi
