SKAI, a Ukrainian rock group formed in 2001 in Ternopil, began as a student project by Oleh Sobchuk and Oleksandr Hryshchuk, who met at the Ternopil Galician College. The line-up later included Yuri Rudnytsky on bass and Serhiy Nedashkovsky on drums. The band’s breakthrough came with the 2006 album Te, shcho treba, featuring the hit "It Can Kill You" that gained national airplay. Subsequent releases include Planeta S.K.A.I. (2007), !
