Slime
Slime is a punk band from Germany founded in 1979. With their simply structured
songs and anti-fascist lyrics, the band became the mouthpiece of the left-wing
political scene in Germany. Slime songs repeatedly caused controversy. The song
"Bullenschweine" (Bull Pigs ) led to an official investigation in 1980. After
the albums Slime I (1981), Yankees Raus (1982) and Alle Gegen Alle (1983), the
band disbanded for the time being. At the beginning of the 1990s, the band
briefly reunited for the two albums Viva la Muerte (1992) and Schweineherbst
(1994). The 1994 album even made it in...
