Slowtide
Slowtide is the stage name of Bochum-based singer-songwriter Kevin Werdelmann,
born on November 1, 1981. After earning a BA in German studies from Ruhr
University Bochum, he composed on an Amiga 500 and released the electronic
concept album London in 1997. Slowtide’s studio album Origins appeared in 2009
on Marchpane Records, followed by Solaria in 2012 on Timezone, and A Gentle
Reminder in 2018. In 2017, he re‑issued London digitally. He has performed with
British Sea Power, Gravenhurst, and at the Reeperbahn Festival.
