Sociedad Anónima, a Colombian rock band formed in Bogotá in 1986 by Carlos
Posada and Gonzalo de Sagarmínaga. They initially performed at private parties
and supported Hora Local. In 1987, Sociedad Anónima gained media attention
through large concerts, coinciding with the growing popularity of
Spanish-language rock on Colombian radio and television. Their first single, "La
causa nacional", released by Polydor in 1988, satirized Colombia's drug
