Sole
James Timothy "Tim" Holland Jr., better known as Sole, is an American
underground hip hop artist born on September 25, 1977, in Portland, Maine. At
age 15, he assembled the record label 45 Below Records and released his first
demo in 1992. He co-founded Anticon with seven others in 1998, a label that
became pivotal in the underground hip hop scene. Sole's debut solo album Bottle
of Humans was released on Anticon in 2000. His album Selling Live Water received
