Sotiria Leonardou, born June 28, 1951, in Athens, Greece, was a singer and
actress. She studied music, dance, theater, and martial arts before embarking on
her career. Her breakthrough came with the role in Rembetiko (1983), directed by
Costas Ferris, for which she also contributed to the screenplay. Leonardou's
musical career included several albums such as I Don't Have Time in My Eyes
(1995), Strange Cosmos (2008), and Sing City (2009). Leonardou retired from
public life in 2009 due to health issues and passed away on November 9, 2019.
