The Soul Survivors, an American soul and R&B group, were founded in 1965 by New
York natives Richie Ingui, Charlie Ingui, and Kenny Jeremiah. Originally known
as The Dedications, the group released several singles under this name before
adopting their new moniker. Their breakthrough came with the release of
"Expressway to Your Heart" in 1967, a collaboration with producers Kenny Gamble
and Leon Huff. The single reached number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and sold
over one million copies. Following this success, the Soul Survivors released
another two albums: Take Another Look (1969...
