Soulsister is a Belgian pop-rock group formed by Jan Leyers and Paul Michiels in
1985. Leyers had been a part of the rock band Beri-Beri, while Michiels had
launched a solo career after playing with the British group Octopus. After
meeting in Michiels' hometown of Heist-op-den-Berg, the pair struck a creative
partnership and made their debut under the name Soul Sisters with the singles
"You Get to Me," "Talk About It," and "Like a Mountain." In 1988, the duo
