Stabsmusikkorps der Bundeswehr is an initiative wind orchestra of the German
Armed Forces, stationed in Berlin, founded on February 16, 1957, in Rheinbach,
Germany. It is a military brass ensemble that serves ceremonial duties. The unit
evolved from the Lehrmusikkorps der Bundeswehr, relocating to Siegburg in 1959
and later rebranding as Stabsmusikkorps der Bundeswehr in 2000. The ensemble has
performed at state receptions for the President, Chancellor, and Minister of
