Stephan Diez
Stephan Diez, born on January 6, 1954, in Berlin, Germany, was a German jazz and
fusion guitarist. He began his musical journey by attending the Sommerjazzkurs
in Remscheid in 1969. Diez's early career included playing with the Krautrock
band Agitation Free in 1973 and performing with Jazztrack. In 1974, he joined
Harald Banters Media Band. He founded his own formation, Mirrors, in 1978, which
featured notable musicians like Ack van Rooyen and Gary Todd. Throughout the
