Stephen Farr, born 1967 in London, England, is a British organist who earned a
Double First in music and an MPhil before completing a PhD in performance at the
University of Surrey, focusing on Judith Bingham’s work. He received the 1988
Royal College of Organists Performer of the Year Award and subsequent prizes in
Odense, Paisley and St Albans. Farr released Fauré Requiem (2005), followed by
Alain: Organ Works (2009) and Jacquet's Ghost (2012). In 2020, he began serving
as Director of Music at All Saints, Margaret Street. His performances include
