Stephen Warbeck
Stephen Warbeck, born October 21, 1953, in Southampton, Hampshire, England, is
an English composer of film, television, and theater scores. He attended the
University of Bristol and began his career as an actor before transitioning to
composition. He gained recognition for scoring the television drama series Prime
Suspect and won the Academy Award for Best Original Score for Shakespeare in
Love in 1998. He received a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Music in a Play in
