Steve Walsh
Steve Walsh is an American singer, keyboardist, and songwriter born on June 15,
1951, in St. Joseph, Missouri. He performed with local groups in Topeka, Kansas,
before joining White Clover, which signed with Don Kirshner's label and took the
name Kansas. As lead vocalist for Kansas, he sang on classic tracks including
"Carry On Wayward Son", "Dust in the Wind", "Point of Know Return", and "All I
Wanted", contributing to studio records such as Leftoverture (1976) and Point of
Know Return (1977). He departed Kansas in 1981 following the album Audio-Visions
