Stephen Lewis Williams, known professionally as Stevie Stone, is an American rapper who was born on July 28, 1981, in Columbia, Missouri. He discovered a love of music through his mother, a singer and choir director who introduced him to gospel, blues, and soul. After focusing on music over a potential junior college basketball career, he signed with Ruthless Records in 2007 and released his debut studio album, New Kid Comin, on September 29, 2009.
