Stormie Omartian, born September 16, 1942, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, United States, is an American singer and author who began her career as a performer before turning to writing. While studying at UCLA, she worked as a dancer, actress, and backup singer for artists such as Glen Campbell, Neil Diamond, and Ray Charles, and appeared on television shows including The Dean Martin Show and The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour.
